Educational Framework Development
Educational frameworks are widely used as starting points for detailed curriculum development work. Many peak professional bodies in health as well as government health agencies have already developed educational or service delivery frameworks to guide further curriculum development or highlight training and accreditation requirements.
OPME has in depth experience working with educational frameworks. Our first hand involvement in the development of several key national frameworks and our extensive experience in designing detailed performance outcomes and assessment strategies around their requirements makes us an ideal partner for curriculum development projects.
Example of our demonstrated experience:
Development of a National Patient Safety Education Framework
Client: Department of Health and Ageing, Australian Council for Safety and Quality in Health Care
Participants: All health care workers in Australia
Project: to research and develop a national set of patient safety competencies and educational framework for all health care workers in Australia. The framework sets the national patient safety benchmarks for all individuals and organisations.
