About OPME
Welcome
OPME is a Faculty of Medicine based team which is dedicated to the research, innovation, and development of graduate, post-graduate and professional education for medical and health science professionals. We aspire to be recognised internationally as leaders in developing and delivering innovative, research-led models for teaching and learning in professional health.
We provide an academic base and a stimulating supportive environment for all Faculty staff interested in medical educational research and development. Our Masters in Medical Education includes experienced teachers with international research reputations. We support our sister organization the Office of Medical Education (OME) in providing input into the graduate medical program.
OPME has a strong track record of significant contributions to medical education research, educational development and health policy, both nationally and internationally in three major areas:
- Professionalism and Patient Safety
- Interprofessional Learning,
- Scholarship of Teaching and Learning and Assessment.
The strength of our team lies in a combination of academic excellence, consultancy experience, a strong project management track record and capable IT design in the areas of:
